General Description of Position: The Customer Service Support Associate provides optimum customer service to all visitors to the campus including professionally answering phones, greeting visitors, addressing questions, referring to appropriate information sources, assisting visitors to find building and room locations, campus events, and campus resources.  The Customer Service Support Associate will serve as the critical first impression for visitors and guests visiting the Indianapolis Campus.

  • Demonstrate strong customer service through a positive attitude of approachability, adaptability, strong problem-solving and desire to identify and support employee/student success.
  • Engage in behaviors that create an inclusive environment in which all people are valued and supported.
  • Go beyond the easiest or surface answer for an internal or external customer, and get to the root cause of the problem, question or issue to solve it as quickly and professionally as possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact within Indianapolis Campus to greet and direct visitors/guests and answer/direct phone calls.
  • Identify potential problems that may require resolution and inform appropriate departments accordingly.
  • Distribute and collect feedback from students and staff

Minimum Qualifications: Earned high school diploma or equivalent required.
Must be an outstanding team player, have excellent customer service skills and possess a professional demeanor. Must be proficient with MS Word and Excel and have experience with various software applications. Requires a self-motivated, outgoing, detail oriented and highly organized individual. Excellent oral, verbal and written communication skills. This position requires an extremely dependable (timeliness and attendance) individual.
