•Schedule, coordinate, and implement major events hosted by internal departments, student organizations and external clients.
•Guide faculty, staff and external clients through the event planning process, providing support as needed, specifically by submitting purchase request, work orders, and A/V tickets on their behalf.
•Coordinate event details with other involved internal departments and external vendors
•Negotiate contracts for goods and services for College events and activities.
•Demonstrate sound fiscal responsibility in management and administration of College funds and accounts.
•Develop event timelines and maintain event records.
•Develop a tracking system of activities, utilization, and statistics of events.
•Serve as the onsite point-of-contact during all events in regard to logistics.
•Develop and lead the event project team.
•Coordinate major campus events: Legacy Award, Commencement, Employee Recognition, etc.
•Promote Ivy Tech facilities to area organizations and corporations.
•Provide oversight of the hourly administrative staff for the Pfau Hall front desk
•Assist with the distribution of administrative work throughout the campuses administrative staff.
•Create and maintain a campus wide calendar of events
•Provide support to the Human Resource department in the areas of new hire orientation, recruiting and general administrative duties.
