General Description of Position:

The Student Resource & Referral Center Manager reports to the Human Services Program Chair/Director of Wrap-Around Services. This position has primary responsibility for day-to-day management and supervision of SRRC (Pod 7) staff: SRRC Program Manager, Americorp Volunteers, Student Volunteers, EARN IN Interns, and University Interns. This position coordinates the working schedules of the SRRC staff and the community partners, such as United Health Services, while providing services within the SRRC. This position maintains the data collection of services and is responsible for reporting of SRRC to administration, development, and agency funding sources. Position partners with SRRC Program Manager, Student Services, faculty /staff, Institutional Research, Marketing on the Communication and Marketing Plans for SRRC.

Major Responsibilities: Market programs/services.
Plan and execute related events /activities for students, faculty, and staff.
Coordinate volunteers for such events/activities. Maintain relationships with community agencies.
Maintain current referral information about community agency programs and services.
Provide one-on one advisory services for faculty, staff, and students seeking volunteer / community service experiences.
Serve on Student Affairs and college committees as appropriate.
Attend appropriate local, state, regional and national meetings and conferences for professional development and enhancement of department programs.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Ability to coordinate multiple events simultaneously Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to support office programs including outdoor work and working with donated items.
Ability to efficiently operate a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately. Ability to establish and maintain accurate records and reports
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
Ability to interact in an effective and appropriate manner with diverse populations, the College community and the public.
Ability to effectively monitor budget and associated receipts and expenditures. Ability to make rational, sound and ethical decisions.
Ability to work evening and weekend hours.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Counseling & Human Services or Social Work and at least 2 years of experience in social services SB resident
