General Description of Position: Under the direction of the Executive Director of Finance, responsible for daily operations of the Bursar’s/Payroll Office. Supervises the processing and documentation of all receivables and payroll activities. Assist in maintaining proper internal controls and compliance of college policy.
Major Responsibilities:

Supervise revolving fund payments.
Responsible for all petty cash and change funds.
Balance revolving fund checkbook.
Responsible for all payroll activity for the campus including proper payroll files, leave accruals and appropriate time recording.
Reviews all payroll diagnostics for accuracy. Responsible for review, adjustments, and other payroll entries.
Coordinate purchasing activity for the campus and solicit quotations/RFPs as required by college policy.
Coordinate bank card purchasing for the campus and serve as backup administrator.
Serve as campus administrator for online office supply ordering systems.
Supervise all Bursar’s Office activities and supervises Finance Office activities in absence of the Executive Director of Finance.
Holds signature authority for all business office documents.
Serve in the community and on committees as required.
Assist in maintaining proper internal controls and compliance with all college purchasing, payable and payroll policies.
Maintain student government budget and club budgets, assist clubs with purchases and policies, disperse monthly report to officers and advisors.
Assist in budgeting process for the campus.
Backup for position control.
Serves in a reviewing capacity and assists in the resolution of all problems encountered in the area of receipts and disbursements processing.
Provides for appropriate analysis and follow-up on delinquent student accounts
Any other duties as assigned by Executive Director of Finance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration or equivalent work experience. Minimum of four years payable or payroll experience.
Supervisor experience  
Must possess excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of personal computers and spreadsheet software
