General Description of Position:  Position will report to the Executive Director of Resource Development and will work with Annual Fund Activities, Scholarship Management, Special Events, and Major Fund Development.
Major Responsibilities:


Assists the Executive Director of Resource Development with fund raising and friend raising as needed to further the mission of the College.

Maintains confidentiality of donors and gift information. Researches donor information and prospect data as needed for Resource Development Office. Maintains Net Community Event management software. Maintains donor database system for Resource Development Office. Ensure correct and proper stewardship of donated funds and materials; including appropriately recording and managing contributions; maintaining financial records as required for the Foundation. Creates reports as needed. Performs other duties as assigned or as judgment or necessity dictates.

Minimum Qualifications:  

A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Two (2) or more years of professional work experience in one or more of the following areas: annual giving, social media, alumni/donor relations, customer service/relationship management, development or comparable experience.

Ability to build and steward campus relationships.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to work with senior leadership, board members, volunteers, and donors.

Goal oriented and self-starter who is able to work effectively without much supervision.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and financial transactions.

Willingness and ability to travel in with some evening and weekend work.

Work professionally in independent and team environment to accomplish objectives.

Ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees where every individual feels respected and valued.

Preferred Qualifications:  

Five years of fundraising development or similar experience preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word and Excel preferred.

Social Media and Web Development planning and implementation preferred.

Experience with donor software desired.
