General Description of Position:
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) Assistant serves as a student leader of the campus’s programming efforts. Assist Office of Student Life with coordination and implementation of Campus Activities Board events and activities.
Major Responsibilities:
  • Represent the student body’s voice when selecting future events/activities.
  • Assist with event logistics (setup, tear down, attendance tracking, assisting performers, etc.) at Campus
  • Activities Board events/activities.
  • Create fliers and other promotional materials for events/activities.
  • Distribute event promotional materials on campus.
  • Assist the Office of Student Life with post event assessment through providing feedback, compiling
  • survey data, etc.
  • Attend CAB sponsored events and activities.
  • Attend and actively participate in CAB/Student Life event planning meetings.
  • Actively encourage students to participate and/or get involved on campus.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a currently registered student at the Ivy Tech campus served. Must remain in good academic
standing (2.0 cumulative GPA) and in good standing with regards to the student code of conduct.
