General Description of Position:

The Career Coaching and Employer Connections Program Manager (AYD) is responsible for the fulfillment of programming, and services to meet the needs of business, industry, non-profit organizations, and the general public with a specific focus on coordination of AYD programming.  Work collaboratively with Ivy Tech Employer Consultants, Campus Chancellors, Vice Chancellors, program chairs and faculty to successfully implement metrics tied to employers, employees and College outcomes and ensure services and products exceed customer and College expectations.

Major Responsibilities:

Review, analyze, and evaluate recruitment efforts for AYD and devise enhancements consistent with enrollment goals based on annual and long-range targets.

 

Oversee and participate in recruiting services, personal contacts, education fairs, and information sessions to inspire and grow AYD partnerships.

 

Coordinate recruitment functions with other College services such as admissions, orientation, assessment, registration, financial aid, business office, and other related functions at the campus.

 

Oversee the development and implementation of communication and information tools to prospective AYD students.

 

Compile AYD student data to track enrollments, grades, participation, and retention rates.

 

Create and maintain customized AYD applications for each employer partner.

 

Assist in the development and coordination of training, programs, and services for contract or customized training, and for open enrollment courses.

 

Work closely with the Business Office, Academic Affairs, Testing Center, Student Success and Student Services personnel, e.g., Admissions, Advisors, deans and faculty, to ensure quality programming and collaboration in program development and future course offerings.

 

Coordinate with department assistant and work with other College departments to ensure timely execution of programs; for example, Finance for invoicing of contracts, bookstore for materials ordering, etc.

 

Ensure all project documentation is accurate and maintained including utilizing the standard terms and conditions and statewide contract templates.  

 

Ensure that arrangements are made for appropriate facilities, materials, and equipment necessary for the delivery of services.

 

Work with Marketing to create materials and market programs and services.

 

Maintain records of projects and other student/employer information in customer (CRM) and student management system (e.g. Salesforce, Banner, contract CSM) to track and provide reports in a timely manner; including grades and certifications earned.

 

Establish, maintain, and cultivate positive, collaborative partnerships with employers and other key partners like Department of Workforce Development.

 

Participate in training and professional development as needed.

 

Responsible for monitoring the use of division funds for program delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required. 

 

A minimum of three (3) years related experience in business, industry, training, or an related activity with financial acumen.  

 

Must possess an ability and a willingness to travel in the performance of assigned duties. 

 

Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
