Develops, plans and evaluates College benefit programs to ensure support of the College’s Strategic Plan.
Creates and oversees creation of College benefit program communications strategy and campaigns.
Provides leadership of the employee benefits team.
Oversees the statewide Employee Benefits and Leaves of Absence Hub.
Oversees staff interaction with employees and retirees related to benefit questions and concerns.
Creates Request for Proposals and leads contract negotiations with brokers/vendors/carriers for employee benefit programs on the College’s behalf.
Remains current on benefits regulations and legislation, and ensures all programs and policies are legally compliant.
In collaboration with the VP for Human Resources, identifies and recommends College-wide employee policies and programs that solve existing challenges by tackling their root causes and contributing factors and support the College’s mission and values.
Collaborates with the Systems Office and campus HR teams in analyzing trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies for Ivy Tech employees.
Collaborates with AVP of Talent Management on projects and initiatives to improve the overall employee experience, both individually and holistically.
Other duties logically associated with the position may be assigned.
