Provide laboratory support for science courses in School of Arts, Sciences &
Education: including maintaining an orderly lab environment; maintaining lab equipment and materials; lab set-up and take-down; check equipment and materials for proper operation; storage and clean-up.
Assist with transfer of lab equipment, supplies and other materials from current labs in Poling Hall to newer lab in Moravec Hall.
Prepare chemical solutions for use in lab experiments; wash glassware; properly dispose of used chemical reagents, biological specimens, and broken glassware.
Work closely with the program chair to order, receive, and check equipment and
supplies; perform inventory checks and maintain inventory; perform minor repairs of laboratory equipment.
