Monitor and respond to all financial aid help desk tickets submitted by statewide financial aid staff.
Recommend and develop knowledge base information to be used by call center staff.
Assist in the maintenance of the Banner financial aid modules and all 3rd party interfaces ensuring that the institution follows federal, state, and institutional requirements.
Assist with system enhancement request including information gathering and implementation of technical solutions.
Monitor defects and solutions postings at the Ellucian website. Work with Information Technology and Banner action line to resolve problems. Serve as a liaison to Ellucian to report and resolve financial aid defects/problems.
Recommend, develop and monitor reports to ensure internal control and to maintain system integrity. Troubleshoot operational issues to assist with the appropriate plan for resolution.
Develop reports necessary for annual financial aid federal, state and institutional data submissions. Work with Information Technology and Business Intelligence to coordinate development of ad-hoc reports.
Monitor and work associated reports to ensure monthly/annual reconciliation of Pell, Direct Loans and Federal Work Study. Work with Business Affairs to ensure CHE, Pell and Direct Loan remain reconciled.
Assist in the collection and verification of financial aid data for federal, state and institutional reporting in support of the College’s enrollment goals and financial aid compliance.
Assist in the development and delivery of end-user training material and procedure documentation for financial aid system modules.
