General Description of Position: The Assistant Vice President (AVP) Enrollment Systems & Product Owner reports directly to the Vice President Recruitment, Enrollment Management and Marketing. This position is responsible for the management and oversight of all the College’s enrollment systems including the contact relationship management system (e.g. Salesforce/IvyConnect) and engagement tools (e.g. Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Signal Vine, Covideo etc.). The AVP is accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the Scrum Team. This position represents the needs of all stakeholders and is also responsible for leading campus teams in the effective utilization of all enrollment resources, as well as analyzing trends to identify operational efficiencies.
Major Responsibilities:

IVYCONNECT (CRM): 

Product Backlog Management:

Accountable for effective product backlog management, which includes

Serve as the statewide business representative with the OIT department

Work with end users to write concise user stories for development team

Develop and explicitly communicate the product goal

Create and clearly communicate product backlog items

Prioritize product backlog items

Ensure that the product backlog is transparent, visible and understood

Effectively communicate backlog and enhancements to campus teams

Develop, implement and maintain product training resources including a new employee training manual.

Lead statewide IvyConnect Champions team to navigate future enhancements and ongoing employee training.

Lead weekly IvyConnect office hours meetings.

Serve on multiple committees and workgroups.

SALESFORCE MARKETING CLOUD:

Work with the AVP of Recruitment, Marketing & Student Communications and the AVP of Enrollment Management to develop recruitment and enrollment funnel communication journeys for the College.

Serve as liaison between statewide Enrollment and Marketing and Communications teams.

Create complicated, multi-touch customer journeys to deliver on business goals.

Perform journey mapping, email triggers, segmentation, and behavior targeting.

Serve as the subject matter expert on marketing automation.

Engage with business stakeholders to gather/analyze requirements and map them to solutions that leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionality.

Provide support and act as point of escalation for teams using Marketing Cloud.

Create and deliver ongoing trainings for campus teams.

Design, build and refine workflows using Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform inclusive of Email Studio, Journey Builder, Advertising Studio and Web Studio that support internal and external digital campaigns and ongoing requests from the business.

Work with SO marketing to Support the tagging of all marketing URLs using Google Analytics for tracking; utilize URL shortening utilities for promotion within digital communications (tinyurl, bit.ly, captix, etc.).

Support the implementation of automated journeys for multiple audiences to cultivate relationships and enhance communications with active and inactive prospective students.

Work with SO marketing and various contracted vendors to support digital acquisition and data capture strategies as well as audience list and database management and integrations.

Work with SO marketing to measure and improve performance characteristics such as open rate, click-through rates and content engagement using A/B testing and various other methods.

Monitor and respond to email deliverability issues and ensure adherence to email compliance and spam regulations (CAN-SPAM).

Work with SO marketing to analyze email campaign results and assist in the creation and distribution of performance reports, summarizing key insights and offering recommendations.

Contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Must demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize requests with a positive attitude.

Must demonstrate the ability to lead a large group of shareholders towards a common goal.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills required; must be a good listener.

Must be data-driven and analytical.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building multi-touch journeys in SFMC.

Experience working in Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud platforms.

Understanding of Delivery and Project Management frameworks, methodologies, and practices (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum).

Experience developing, executing, and managing strategic email marketing initiatives.
