Develops clear and consistent messaging that aligns with the Ivy Tech brand voice, resonates with target audiences, and incorporates best practices for each platform.
Creates written content for use across a variety of channels, including but not limited to emails, text messages, phone, radio and video scripts, organic social content, digital ad messaging, internal student platforms, printed materials, and more.
Creates, edits, and proofreads presentations, video and radio scripts, and other written communications for a variety of audiences.
Works with the Marketing & Student Communications team to research and develop campaign strategies.
Perform project management responsibilities, in partnership with other team members ensuring deadlines are met as they relate to the delivery of projects and tasks.
Serve as co-administrator for Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and performs duties including but not limited to: scheduling/deploying email sends, creating/implementing journeys, creating templates for email/newsletter communications.
Efficient at email marketing platforms including writing, scheduling, training, reporting and ensuring due dates and timelines are withheld according to plans.
Builds and schedules emails for deployment in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and provides analytics to inform future actions for audience, timing, subject line, etc. Provides graphs to show trends and to indicate must-haves for future campaigns. Provides monthly performance reports by audience, campaign, event, etc.
Effectively communicates and works as a team with other Systems Office colleagues and campus representatives.
Provide Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SmartView and other training to colleagues as needed. Create training video series for employees who will use the platform(s).
Manages social media platforms; creates content calendar, schedules posts, monitors, performs engagement activities at both the statewide and campus level, and provides monthly performance reports.
Responsible for quality and accuracy of work and communications.
Responsible for regular use of marketing project management systems, such as Basecamp.
Interacts with clients and vendors, manages workflow (project set-up, daily schedule, deadlines, revisions, deliveries, proofing, spec and template management), and assists team members as needed for select projects.
Fulfill weekly contact list needs for vendors, agencies, and internal project partners.
Disseminates communication plans and content through to statewide colleagues through digital platforms on a weekly basis.
Effectively communicates with Marketing and Student Communications colleagues when project scope changes or when challenges/obstacles arise with a project or request.
Serves as back-up to assist with the College’s call center communications and specific campus marketing efforts managed by the Systems Office team, plus statewide fulfillment vendor and projects/initiatives/committees.
May represent marketing on various committees.
